This is one of the most memorable trips Mercy Tribe has ever taken! The Mercy Tribe team visited our orphanage that we raised money for and saw all the progress! We got to help run a VBS, feed kids, and minister in the unbearable heat and humidity. We explored everywhere from the city, to the villages, and even into the mountains!

Pastor Emmanuel, Sharon, and their daughter Nancy were so nice to host us and make this the most fun trip! Visiting the villages was truly impactful, seeing what a difference we were really making. People work so hard to provide for their families and communities that seeing a beautiful smile on their faces is something we will never forget. While there, we visited the only Christian church that took years to get approval, in over 70 Hindu temples! That's crazy! And now we get to give these kids that we visited and played with an education, church, and home. All the kids sleeping on bunk beds in Pastor Emmanuel's living room, and even those sleeping on the street will live in their own home. How cool is that?! Another crazy story is that when we went to the villages in the mountains, we were the first white people to come into that village, it was the first time their government officials were in their village, and the largest Christian gathering in that village!

The children's program that we got to help lead was a blast! We sang songs, taught Bible stories, and played games! One of the top favorite games was min-it-to-win it! We did challenges from stacking cups to blowing up balloons and even games that involved running! These were the days that I loved the most! We just got to hang out with the kids, love on them, and tell them about Jesus!

To say the least, this was a life-changing trip, and we cannot wait to go back!
